B23 Energic

Equipment

The B23 Energic is a fully electric aircraft powered by a lithium battery pack distributed in 2 packs permanently installed and delivering 48 kWh of usable Energy. Its single engine liquid cooled electric motor, has a Maximum Take-Off Power (MTOP) of 90kW with a 104kW available for short and grass runways. It is equivalent to a 140 brake horsepower engine. The lifespan of the batteries are 1500+ flight hours, depending on the usage.

The cockpit contains traditional navigation and radio equipment as well as the power and energy management and data Interfaces and displays for the electric propulsion.

With an appropriate charger, the Bristell B23 Energic typically charges at a 1:1 ratio between use time and charge time. In hot conditions or other unusual circumstances, additional time may be needed to allow the battery to cool before charging begins. The aircraft uses a standard and commercially available CCS-1 DC automotive charger. For the fastest charging time, a charger with at least 50kW of power is required. Using a charger with less power will extend the charging time, while chargers above 50kW will not reduce it further. If needed, H55 can put you in contact with a charging solution provider.
